About the Convention
WintiCon brings together people who enjoy strategy, hex-and-counter gaming, historical games, and larger multiplayer titles. With room for 50 players across 25 gaming tables, the convention is meant to give these games the time, space, and company they deserve, from the classic two-player hex-and-counter game to bigger experiences like Here I Stand.
Titles such as Virgin Queen, Churchill, Fire in the Lake, Paths of Glory, and many more are very much at home at WintiCon and, for the especially ambitious, perhaps even something like Campaign for North Africa.

First Time at a Convention?
There is no need to worry if this is your first convention of this kind. Start by getting your ticket, then organise your travel and, if needed, your accommodation.
Before the event, you can use the game planning sheet to sign up for games, offer a game yourself, or simply see what others are bringing. You are also very welcome to bring your own games.
When you arrive, check in on site, collect your badge and goodies, and settle in. Many rounds will also form spontaneously during the convention, so do not worry if your favourite game is not yet scheduled. The most important thing is to have fun, meet people, and enjoy the weekend.

FAQ
Do I need to sign up for games in advance?
You can use the game planning sheet to sign up for games in advance, but not everything has to be scheduled ahead of time. Many rounds will also form on site.
Can I bring my own games?
Yes. You are very welcome to bring your own games, plan rounds with them, and use the game planning sheet to find other players.
Will there be games available on site?
Yes. WintiCon will provide a selected list of games on site. More information can be found in the game planning sheet.
Can I bring Tabletop Miniature Games?
Possibly, yes. Games like DBA, Triumph!, Impetus, and similar titles can work at WintiCon. They are clearly not the main focus of the convention, and space can also be a limiting factor.
Can I play Eurogames at WintiCon?
Eurogames are not forbidden, but they are not the focus of the convention. There will probably be better occasions to play them.
What if I arrive later in the day?
That is no problem. Check-in is possible throughout both convention days.
What size are the gaming tables?
The gaming tables measure 160 × 80 cm. If your game requires two or more tables, please contact us in advance so that we can plan accordingly. Yes, we are looking at you, Mega Empires.
Can games stay on the tables overnight?
Yes. Games started on Friday can stay on the tables overnight and be continued on Saturday.
What is the refund policy?
Tickets are generally non-refundable. If the event is cancelled by the organiser, refund handling will follow the Eventfrog policy. Changes to programme or schedule do not automatically entitle ticket holders to a refund.
